Iceland was one of those trips where I believe that the little things you pack can make a gamechanger once you’re out exploring for adventure! From cozy boots and comfortable sneakers to little beauty and travel essentials, these are the kinds of things that can make a long travel day easygoing. I pulled together some of my favorite pieces that are worth checking out if you have a trip coming up!
Travel Find 1: A good LIGHT FLIGHT backpack is a must when you’re traveling, and I love the look of this black backpack with all my international flag patches on the front! It has plenty of charm without being too striking, and the black color makes it convenient to carry with just about anything. This would be such a cute everyday travel bag for keeping your essentials close while exploring a new city.
Travel Find 2: Catch a gentle reminder of skincare when you’re packing! This SUMMER FRIDAYS Jet Lag Essentials Set is such an adorable travel-friendly option because you get a few of the brand’s products together in one little set. The compact packaging makes it easy to slip into your toiletry bag, especially when you don’t want to bring full-size products along.
Travel Find 3: These SOREL boots are such an elevated choice for a colder destination. I love the warm tan and black color blend, and the higher shape feels like perfect match for an Iceland trip. They also have that sporty outdoor look while still being chic enough to wear while you’re touring around and sightseeing.
Travel Find 4: A reusable water bottle from NALGENE is one of those items I always think is worth packing. This Nalgene bottle has a clear design with a black lid and a weightless top handle, making it easy to grab while you’re out exploring. It’s such a simple travel essential, but having water with you can quench exhaustion and restore your hydration.
Travel Find 5: I have a soft spot for those KLEENEX packs that seem almost too simple to mention but somehow make a day so much featherlight. I’d happily keep a couple with me whenever I’m heading out, whether it’s for a quick coffee run, a full day of exploring, or a weekend away. Sometimes it’s the smallest things in your bag that end up being the most useful!
Travel Find 6: My daily steps are high when I travel, so I intentionally pack these pair of white SOREL sneakers. The all-white design keeps them looking neat and minimal, while the chunky sole gives them more expression than a basic sneaker. They would be so easy to wear with leggings, jeans, or a casual travel outfit.
Travel Find 7: A TESSAN travel adapter is definitely one of those things you never want to realize you forgot once you’ve already arrived! This Tessan travel adapter has multiple outlets and USB ports, so it’s a practical thing to bring when you’re traveling with several devices. It’s one of those less-exciting items that ends up being incredibly useful.
Travel Find 8: If you’re headed somewhere chilly, these SPERRY boots are another stylish choice. I love the light gray color and the clean white sole, which gives them a slightly more polished look than a vintage winter boot. They would look so cute with a cozy sweater, leggings, and a warm coat for a day of exploring.
Travel Find 9: There’s no better visual trendsetter other than this cute pair of SOJOS sunglasses! This collection has a few distinct shapes and colors, from classic dark frames to tortoise styles, so there’s seamless pairing for every kind of outfit. Having a couple of options with you makes it easy to switch up your look while you’re traveling.
Travel Find 10: A good setting spray is another easy one to throw into your beauty bag. This URBAN DECAY ALL NIGHTER setting spray has a natural finish, and the smaller bottle shown here makes it especially convenient for travel. It’s the kind of product I’d bring with me for a long day when I know I’ll be outdoor from morning until night.
Travel Find 11: I always feel pumped for a trip once my BEATS headphones are activated! There’s just a uniqueness about having a good pair within reach when I’m sitting at the boarding gate and waiting for takeoff. I can put on my favorite playlist, catch up on a podcast, or settle in with a thriller movie. I’m also loving the light blue phone charger here, it carries such a cheerful pop of color to my travel essentials.
Travel Find 12: If your skin tends to feel dry while traveling, this THAYERS Hydrating Milky Mist is worth keeping in your bag. The bottle is a great size for tossing into your toiletries, and the milky mist format makes it a delicate refresh during the day. It’s fragrance-free and labeled for normal to dry skin, too.
Travel Find 13: Any purse can be a multi-purpose shelter for your tiny items, and this ESW BEAUTY lip product is such a cute one. The bright pink packaging makes it easier to spot in your bag, while the tortoise sunglasses next to it enhance timeless accessory to the mix. Both are easy things to grab when you’re out and about.
Travel Find 14: These DITOI clean face towels are another handy addition to a travel toiletry bag. They’re labeled as 100% biodegradable, and the individual packaging makes them portable for taking along on a trip. I love travel-friendly products like this that don’t require much space in your luggage.
Travel Find 15: If you like picking up a book on a library connected to the place you’re visiting, How Iceland Changed the World would be such a lesson-filled book to carry along. The lively cover immediately caught my attention, and it’s about the history of Iceland and this island’s impact on the world. It would make a great read for a quiet moment back at the hotel.
Travel Find 16: And finally, these COLUMBIA hiking boots are such an effortless option for an outdoor trip. The neutral taupe color goes with just about anything, while the pink and gray details on the laces give them a creative touch. These would be perfect for putting together a cozy hiking outfit.
These are some of the travel finds I’d definitely remember for your next adventure. I love that this list has a little bit of everything, from the lovely items you need in your suitcase to the extras that make traveling more fascinating.
