A capsule wardrobe is compiled of basic pieces that you can mix and match for the current season. I’ve put together a winter capsule wardrobe for you guys to check out!
Here is a general list of all the pieces you need for your winter capsule wardrobe.
- Multiple styles of jackets. In this roundup, I included a puffer coat for any outdoor activities and casual looks, a longer pea coat for dressier events, and a mix between a coat and a cardigan for those in between outings.
- Sweaters! I’ve linked two of my favorite sweaters from Amazon in neutral colors so they can match with whatever outfits you’re putting togehter.
- For jeans, I did a pair of flare jeans from GAP that are insanely cute, and then a pair of skinny jeans if that’s more your style! You really need a pair of light/medium wash and then a pair of dark wash denim for a capsule wardrobe. These can be in whatever cut you prefer (bootcut, flare, skinny, straight, etc.)
- Winter shoes are going to be ones that keep you warm and cozy! Go for a causal ankle boot you’ll wear with jeans or leggings, a dresser ankle boot for more elevated looks, and a comfy pair of outdoor slipper shoes like these UGG Tasman inspired pair from Amazon!
- Finally are the two basic bags you can wear all winter long. A quilted puffer bag can be your daily casual bag for on the go – plus it fits a ton! For nights out, a sleek black shoulder bag will fit your essentials and match with any outfit you have on.
