LA Lately: The Outfits

For my recent LA trip, I wanted outfits that could move easily from one plan to the next. Between grabbing an iced coffee and getting prepared for a fashion event in Beverly Hills, I needed to prep a bit of everything. I ended up packing a mix of breezy dresses, polished sets, classic denim, prints, and a few beauty essentials that made the trip feel more romantic!

One of my favorite looks from the trip was this KIRUNDO summer dress. The sleeveless shape keeps it lightweight for warmer days, while the structured details make it feel a little more put together. I paired it with a small crossbody bag and DOLCE VITA auggie for a touch of personality. It’s the kind of outfit I could see myself wearing for brunch, shopping, or a casual meeting when I still want to look chic.

If you know me, I have been a repeat wearer of M MOOHAM accessories. I love the mix of colors and geometric print because it makes the outfit feel complete without requiring much else. I kept the accessories minimal with a FOXLOVER bucket bag, and letting the dress do most of the talking. This would be such an adorable option for a dinner where you want one outfit that makes a statement.

Some of the smallest things in my suitcase ended up being the ones I reached for more than once. The fitted BTFBM top gives the relaxed denim a more refined feel, while the tiny JW PEI black bag keeps everything cohesive. It’s one of those combinations I know I’ll come back to because there are so many ways to revamp it up with distinct shoes, bags, or jewelry.

And you know I can never resist a good blazer moment. This cream CICY BELL blazer and shorts set has such an effortless vibe, especially with the knee-high brown boots. I love the contrast between the lighter outfit and the darker boots because it gives the look a unique character. And when I wanted something more tailored, the LUVAMIA blazer and matching pants were an easy choice. Paired with a simple white top, pointed flats, and a flawless YUWITA handbag, it instantly felt ready for a more dressed-up day.

By the end of the trip, my camera roll had become a pretty little style diary. I kept my black handbag and SOJOS sunglasses close by since they worked with so many of the outfits, and I loved having a few beauty essentials on hand as well. The lavender TATCHA beauty bag was fabulous for keeping everything inside, with skincare and other mini products that are easy to toss into a carry-on. I’m always happiest when the practical things can still appear elegant sitting on the vanity.

Keep scrolling through these LA favorites to see the outfits that made their way into my suitcase! I love when a few versatile pieces can create completely different looks, especially when there’s a whole city like LA to explore.
