Capsule wardrobes are made up of the basic essentials you’ll need during that season. Then, the idea of a capsule wardrobe is that you can mix and match to create fresh new looks but re-wearing individual pieces. The pieces in this post are what you can follow to create the best summer capsule wardrobe.
Dresses are always a staple for warmer temps. There are three basic styles for this summer capsule wardrobe must haves. First, is a flowy tank dress. This would be perfect for daytime outings, BBQs, you name it. Then, is a dressier long bodycon style tank dress. This dress can be worn out more in the evenings and elevated a bit easier. You can also have a long sleeve mini dress like this pretty olive green option. Then mix and match with shoes, accessories, and you’ll have various looks!
White denim is always my go to for summer. So I had to include this bestselling pair of white jeans from Amazon! I love the button fly and wider leg detail towards the calf. It’s so on trend right now and also looks like such a timeless pair of white jeans you’ll wear on repeat!
Tanks are a must for warmer months in the summer, so you’ll need a casual tank top and a dressier blouse style tank top. Both of these come in a variety of colors so you can pick what fits your personal style best.
For shoes, you’ll need some sandals of course! I’ve linked four different pairs of flat sandals in neutral colors, so that you can mix and match to wear with all of your different summer looks.
Finally, for accessories I added two pairs of earrings – one is more of a white statement earrings and the other is a classic gold pair you can wear when you’re more dressed up. Then there are two bags that are perfect for summer! Again one is more casual and the other is a bit more elevated.
