In a time when viral clothing and fast fashion are almost expected, SKIMS introduction was an unexpected, welcomed change given their refreshing focus on body-enhancing shapewear basics. With the brand name being synonymous with its founder, Kim Kardashian, it was expected to be expensive. As an alternative, we’ve scoured Amazon to find you the most fashionable and affordable SKIMS styles available!
First up we have the SHAPERX Women’s Shapewear Seamless Sculpting Bodysuit. It’s specifically designed to shape your figure. Unlike the more common corset which practically functions the same, a bodysuit is made of stretchable spandex material that can comfortably adjust to your body shape. It makes everything look more natural and it’s not as restricting. It also features a thong design which helps lessen a possible wedgie—which is always a win!
There’s also the Women’s Casual Basic Long Sleeve Shirt. It’s a classic long-sleeve shirt fitted silhouette that’s so easy to dress up or down. What I love about this top is regardless of how I style it (whether it’s with baggy jeans, a baguette bag, ballet flats or cargo pants, a crossbody bag, chunky sneakers) its tight-fitting silhouette always adds a nice flair of femininity to the look. It comes in a variety of colors that can fit whatever your vibe!
