If you are reading this you are probably an aspiring blogger or maybe one with a bit of experience under your belt. Well, if you are either, you have come to the right place. I have been blogging for over 2 years now and made my money my very first month doing it! So I am rounding up all my tips and tricks to share with y’all.
How do blogs earn income?
Blog earn income by two main sources: ads and affiliate programs.
If you have lots of visitors to your site, people will pay money for ad-space on your site. Most of these set ups are PPC – or pay per click. Meaning those ads will be tracked and you will be paid for each ad click. More on this later.
Another way to offer ads is to do blog posts and social media posts. For these, you get to set your rate and advertisers have to pay that to be advertised via your blog.
Besides ads, another way to earn money on your blog is working with affiliate programs. So next up…
What are affiliate programs?
Affiliate programs are websites that pay you money to refer your users and followers back to their site.
If you are anything like me, you find it almost impossible to keep up with all we as bloggers “should be” pinning daily. Most blogs say 70-100 unique pins per day! I found Tailwind which has drastically helped me up my Pinterest game. This app extends Pinterest and allows you to schedule your posts based on algorithms that track the best times for pins like yours to be posted. It is a paid app but you can try it for free with my referral link here.
Where can I get free images?
My favorite place to go for free high-resolution imagery is Pexels.com.
